  • » ATHLETIC EVALUATION (Ages 9-18)

    Ages 9 - 11:
    Mon 7p - 8p
    Ages 12 - 14:
    Tue 7p - 8p
    Ages 15 - 18:
    W or Th 7p - 8p
    Prior to beginning an athletic development program, we evaluate all athletes. This initial assessment covers Anatomical, Lower Body Power, Linear Speed, and An/Aerobic. Results are shared with the athlete and parent. Expectations for training are set at this time but there is no obligation to train with CES Performance.

  • » BASIC Flex (ages 9-11)

    5:30-6:15 & 6:15-7
    Thursdays 6:15-7
    Saturdays 9a-9:45
    This program focuses on primary movement and speed mechanics. Teaching these fundamental patterns and developing motor coordination is essential. Functional movement, mobility and stability are the beginning stages of Long-Term Development. Athletes train 1-3 times/week when convenient. Schedule is flexible.

    Athletes ages 12-14 need to develop acceleration. This preparation is primary for strength and speed. Emphasis is placed upon speed mechanics and responsive agility during the stage of anatomical adaptations. We recommend training 1-2 sessions/week in-season and 2-4 sessions/week in the off-season. Schedule is flexible.

    Advanced athletes train in 90-minute sessions that focus on all elements of Long-Term Athletic Development with the primary end result being power development. Muscular and speed endurance are also a key priority for athletes in this stage. We recommend 1-2 sessions/week in-season and 2-4 sessions/week in the off-season. Schedule is flexible.

    Professional and collegiate ballplayers train at CES Performance every morning Monday-Friday in the off-season. Coach Buckminster, formerly of the Pirates organization, leads the group and customizes training programs for every player.
