Training Programs

  • » Basic

    Emphasis is on teaching the foundational ability to move in specific patterns, such as: the squat, push-up, press, lunge, hip hinge, jumping and landing technique using mainly bodyweight and low levels of resistive modalities. Overall, good movement skill is expected before more standard resistance training can occur.

    All athletes are required to complete an evaluation before they are able to register for this program.

  • » Intermediate

    Consistent movement quality is present and base strength can be taught and progressed using proper lifting technique. Expectations are for each athlete to have good functional movement, good lifting technique and complete mastery of their bodyweight. Resistance loading using barbells, dumbbells, cords, tubing, plates, med balls, sandbags, kettlebells will challenge both neurological and physiological adaptation to occur within the athlete. Sprinting and jumping mechanics continue to be developed and the athlete will accumulate field-specific conditioning.

    All athletes are required to complete an evaluation before they are able to register for this program.

  • » Advanced

    Athletes in this level are above average in strength, stability, mobility and movement speed skills. A strong focus is on strength and power development. Safe and effective periodized programs are used to progress strength skill and Olympic weightlifting related exercises. There will be ongoing development of speed with specific focus on multi-directional agility skill. As always, on-field conditioning will be maximized through repeated sprint ability and the use of training implements.

    All athletes are required to complete an evaluation before they are able to register for this program.

  • » FOCUS Off-Season

    February 9th - April 2nd
    This program has a pre-determined set training schedule, duration and is segmented for athletes ages 14-18 years, by movement ability, seasonality sport need and/or gender. Athlete ability level and programming design can be similar to the Advanced level classes with training emphasis on strength and power development. These athletes are generally 1-2 standard deviations above their peers in most measures of strength, power, speed and agility. A Performance Evaluation is required prior to registration.

    Block 1 -
    Dates: February 9th - April 2nd (No training on March 26 due to Easter Holiday)
    Schedule:
    Tuesday & Thursday from 6:15 - 7:45p
    Saturday from 10:30 - 12:00p
    Price: $600 total (or $300 per month)

    Block 2 -
    Begins April 5th and ends May 28th.
    Performance reports will be provided to all athletes at the conclusion of Block 1 (April 2nd). Registration for Block 2 will begin Tuesday, March 22nd and training would begin Tuesday, April 5th. Block 1 registrants will have the option to continue to Block 2.

  • » FOCUS In-Season

    February 1 - May 25th OR February 2 - May 26th
    This program has a pre-determined set training schedule, duration and is segmented for athletes ages 11-15 years, by movement ability, seasonality sport need and/or gender. Athlete ability level and programming design can be similar to the Intermediate level classes with training emphasis on strength and power development. These athletes are generally 1-2 standard deviations above their peers in most measures of strength, power, speed and agility. A Performance Evaluation is required prior to registration.

    Dates: February 1st - May 25th
    Schedule: Monday & Wednesday from 4:45 - 6:15p
    Price: $700 total (or $175 per month for 4 months)

    Dates: February 2nd - May 26th
    Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday from 4:45 - 6:15p
    Price: $700 total (or $175 per month for 4 months)

  • » Bellaire Baseball Winter/Spring Training

    At CES Performance
    Mon & Wed 6:15 - 7:00pm
    Bellaire Baseball Winter/Spring Training Program runs February 22nd through April 27th. Training focuses on strength development - critical components of on-field performance.

    Please note that this program has been designed only for active Belliare High School Varsity Baseball team members.

    This program is designed specifically for Presbyterian athletes in grades 5 through 8. Training starts Tuesday, February 9th and ends Thursday, April 21st. Athletes will train Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15p to 4:00p. Total cost of $360 can be split into two payments.
